Blackwood Valley Wine Show

The Blackwood ValleyWine Show and the Western Australian Boutique Wine Show are the showcase events of the region and are now in their 15th year.

Entries are open to local Blackwood Valley producers, as well as Boutique Wineries from across the State, who crush less than 250 tonnes of fruit per year.

The Western Australian Boutique Wine Show continues to grow each year and develop its reputation as the only Show in WA specifically catering for the smaller producer. We also attract high quality judges who assess the wines to Australian

Held annually in October in Bridgetown, judging takes place over two days with the Exhibitors Tasting and Function, incorporating the Presentation of Awards held on the Saturday evening. The Function provides an opportunity to sample the award winning wines of the Shows and mingle with producers, judges and sponsors in a relaxed environment.

The Blackwood Valley & WA Boutique Wine Shows provide an opportunity to highlight the premium wines being produced by smaller wineries or growers across the State, as well as promoting the Blackwood Valley Wine Region.

2017 WA Boutique Wine Show & Blackwood Valley Wine Show

The judging for the 2017 Wine Shows has been completed, highlighting the exceptional wines that are produced by boutique winemakers in Western Australia.

This year, 205 entries from 39 boutique wine producers were judged over 2 days by an expert panel of wine judges. 65% of all wines entered in the Show received a medal.
